Shipping & Delivery Information

 

Standard Delivery Timeframes

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, most orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • South Australia (metro): 1–3 business days
  • South Australia (regional): 3–5 business days
  • Interstate (VIC, NSW, QLD, WA, TAS): 3–7 business days
  • Remote and rural areas: Allow additional time

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary during peak periods or due to carrier delays. Some items that require specialised freight will result in longer delivery times.

How Shipping Is Calculated

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and size of your order. Rates are tiered, so larger or heavier orders attract higher freight charges. You'll always see your exact shipping cost at checkout before you pay.

Standard Shipping Rates:

  • Free local delivery to selected postcodes
  • Small/light orders: from $14.95
  • Medium orders: rates vary by weight tier
  • Large/heavy orders: up to $350.00 for bulky freight

NOTE: If the shipping on your order comes over $150, please contact us — we will arrange a personalised freight solution that will likely be significantly cheaper than the automated shipping costs on the website.

Brooms, poles, and other long items are subject to size-based freight tiers due to their dimensions, even if they are lightweight.

Bulky Equipment & Large Machines

Vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and other large machines are shipped as bulky freight and attract different rates:

  • Bulky equipment freight: from $19.95 up to $210.00 depending on size and destination
  • Large machines may be shipped separately from the rest of your order
  • A signature on delivery may be required for high-value equipment

Chemical & Hazardous Products

Some cleaning chemicals and hazardous products are subject to shipping restrictions due to transport regulations:

  • Certain chemicals can only be shipped to specific regions within Australia
  • Some products may not be available for delivery to all states or territories
  • Hazardous goods may require additional handling time and may be shipped separately
  • We are unable to ship some chemical products to the Northern Territory
  • As a general rule, we do NOT ship chemicals over 5L — however for large orders a pallet solution can be arranged for 10, 15, and 20L items. Please contact us.

Click & Collect (Pickup)

Some products are available for local pickup only and cannot be shipped. These items will be clearly marked on the product page. If you select pickup at checkout, we'll contact you when your order is ready to collect from our Adelaide Hills location. Alternatively, we can arrange delivery to our About Clean pickup partners in Mt Barker, Welland, and Noarlunga.

Regions We Deliver To

We deliver to most areas across Australia, including South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, and the Australian Capital Territory.

Delivery to the Northern Territory may be restricted for certain products, particularly chemicals and hazardous goods. We do not ship to the NT by default — however exceptions can be made. Please contact us to find out delivery options.
