At Adelaide Hills Cleaning Supplies, we're constantly looking at ways to improve what we stock, how we price it and how we service the people who rely on cleaning products, machines and industry supplies every day.

But rather than sitting in a warehouse guessing what cleaners want, we thought we'd ask you.

We're launching our Cleaner R&D Project to get a better understanding of what professional cleaners and cleaning businesses across Australia are actually buying, what they're currently paying and what they wish their suppliers did better.

And we're offering something in return for your time.

What we're looking for

We're asking cleaners and anyone that has a need for cleaning and industry supplies to share a small snapshot of their regular cleaning/supply purchases with us.

This could be as simple as sending us your usual shopping list, or providing a few of the products you regularly buy along with the size, brand and approximate price you currently pay. You can choose to email us directly with anything you're happy to supply at sales@ahcleaningsupplies.com.au OR choose to fill out the quick 3–5 minute survey above.

We're interested in things like:

• 🧪 Chemicals and concentrates
• 🧻 Toilet paper and paper products
• 🧹 Mops, buckets and janitorial equipment
• 🧽 Cloths, pads and consumables
• 🪟 Window-cleaning supplies
• 📦 Bulk products and preferred sizes
• 🛠 Cleaning equipment and machinery

You don't need to give us your entire purchasing history. Even a handful of the products you buy regularly is incredibly useful.

Why are we doing this?

Quite simply, we don't want to guess.

We want to know what cleaners are actually buying, what represents good value, where current suppliers are falling short and what products or sizes are difficult to source.

We're using the information we collect to help make decisions about:

• What we keep in stock. Are there products cleaners want that we don't currently carry?
• How we package it. Are cleaners looking for 5L, 15L, 20L, cartons or other bulk formats?
• How we price it. Are our prices genuinely competitive against what cleaners are paying elsewhere?
• What we offer. Is there something you wish your cleaning supplier offered that nobody seems to be doing particularly well?
• How we service you. Delivery, pickup, ordering, advice, equipment, repairs — we'd love to know where we can make things easier.

Ultimately, we're trying to build a cleaning supply business around what cleaners actually need, rather than what we think they need.

And here's the good bit...

This project is open to anyone regularly purchasing professional cleaning supplies, including:

• Facilities & property maintenance teams
• Procurement officers
• Hospitality professionals
• Those in warehousing and logistics
• Other cleaning professionals

Or quite simply, any business that may use any of the categories and industries we service, requiring an array of supply solutions. Whether you're a one-person operation buying a few boxes a month or you're managing a team and buying supplies in bulk, your input is useful.

What happens after you submit?

It's pretty simple.

1. Tell us a little about your business
We'll ask what type of business you have and roughly how often you purchase supplies.

2. Share some of your regular products
Send us your list, enter a few products manually, or provide whatever information you have available.

3. Tell us what you currently pay
This is optional, but incredibly useful if you'd like us to price-check your supplies. We would only suggest going to this effort for those who may like to explore changing their current supplier.

4. We'll analyse the information
We'll look for trends across the responses we're receiving and use them to help shape the AHCS range, pricing and service.

5. We'll send you your $20 voucher
Once you've completed the research submission, you'll receive your $20 AHCS voucher, ready to use at your discretion.

6. If you requested a price comparison...
We'll personally look through your list and let you know where we think AHCS can save you money.
